04/10/2016 - Data from the Unioncamere-InfoCamere Business Crisis Observatory, reported by Il Sole 24 Ore, highlight two sides of the picture: growing business difficulties, but also more opportunities to protect companies and jobs.

Italy recorded 5,230 judicial liquidations in the first half of 2026. At the same time, more businesses are turning to negotiated crisis management, with 1,128 applications filed by 1 September.Of the 3,453 cases completed, 777 ended successfully, helping preserve around 4,000 jobs.

Produced by Unioncamere and InfoCamere using data from the Business Register, the Observatory highlights the importance of early action: identifying signs of distress and using the available tools in time can make a real difference to business continuity and employment.
