Gulf Crisis: 4,000 Italian Companies with Shareholders Based in the Middle East

Rome, 30 March 2026 –Nearly 4,000 Italian companies have Middle Eastern shareholders in their capital: 3,839 firms, representing a total of €415 million in corporate holdings held by individuals and entities resident in the Persian Gulf and Middle East region. This is the picture drawn as of 31 December last year by InfoCamere, which cross-referenced data from the Italian Business Register to measure the real weight of this geopolitical area within the national productive fabric.
