InfoCamere, the shareholding consortium of the Italian Chambers of Commerce, ensures the implementation and management of the applications required for the chamber system to function and "dialogue" with government, businesses and citizens. It has developed and operates the electronic system that links their 105 Chambers of Commerce and 300 branch offices.

InfoCamere has been distributing digital signing devices to Chambers of Commerce since April 2000 and certified electronic mailboxes since December 2005, in accordance with the current regulations. These devices and mailboxes are distributed by the Chambers of Commerce to entrepreneurs, professionals, public administrators and private citizens throughout Italy. Since August 2005, InfoCamere has also been the national certifying authority issuing digital certificates for tachograph cards.

InfoCamere designs, develops and delivers services via a Management System that complies with ISO 9001, having initially been certified in 1997 (ISO 9001:1994), then approved for Vision 2000 (ISO 9001:2000) and finally extended to the latest version (ISO 9001:2008) in March 2009. The Infocamere Group System Management companies currently include InfoCamere, IC Technology and IC Service.
